The reader is taken back into a time when things were so different and puts the spotlight on many of NYC's famous institutions and preventative youth programs. I have not finished the book but i compare read||Daniel A. Poling Brown's Harlem is alive in a way that no black ghetto has heretofore been brought to life between book jackets.
